Seven Wonders of the World Movie: It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle today that we naturally begin to take some of life's most beautiful gifts for granted. I love watching this story unfold through the eyes of a child. It's a reminder that our most priceless possessions were given to us free at birth.

Bon Voyage Party

My time at Medicalodges is coming to a close. Here I am with the Department Heads at Medicalodges Herington. My trainer; George is sure proud of my coming adventures. Next time he sees me will be in a year or two. Maybe someday I'll come home for Christmas.

I was given a great going away party from my friends. We laughed and played fun games. They hugged me so tight, I was afraid my eyes would pop off. I vowed that I would take great pictures for them, to repay them for those wonderful squeezes. One lucky lady (Dora Falk) wanted to hug me, so that I would relay it to her son, (SPC Justin Falk) who is my first host family.

Justin is stationed in Iraq. We are so proud of him, and all those brave men and women fighting for our liberties. I am wearing this camo hat to help keep me safe over there. I wonder if while I am there, if I would ride a camel? That would be fun, unless the camel has fleas. Oh, well. I will soon find out.

Next stop. IRAQ.

Preparing for Travel

We are so excited about the upcoming adventures of Ryan Railer, that was started by (Me)George McMillin, the Activity Director at Medicalodges Herington. To add our personal touch, we decided to build our special representative's traveling clothes.

Herington Kansas is a historially founded community, built where "the trails, meet the rails". Started as a key cattle trail railhead, Herington is proud of its heritage. So we dressed Ryan in his stylish Engineer Outfit. At first I was upset that the newborn overalls were too big, yet everyone agrees that they are SOOOO CUTE. During his travels he might just grow into them.

Our nursing home and assisted living residents are pleased to have this opportunity to collect information from our NEW friends around the world. This will bring so much joy to them. We here at MEDICALODGES are pleased that you are taking the time to bring Ryan's many new adventures to us. Our hometown school mascot of HERINGTON is the RAILERS. That is how Ryan got his family name.
